Bus and mini-bus

The bus #851 or mini-bus (marshrutka) #851ñ will take you to the Rechnoj vokzal Metro Station. The bus #817 goes to the Planernaya Metro station. See those stations at the Map of Moscow Metro.

Mini-buses run from 7:10 am to 9:10 pm
Buses run from 5:45 am to 00:30 am

Fare: from 15 to 50 roubles.

The ride by bus takes up to 50 min. depending on the traffic. Muni-buses run a bit faster.

Cab

You can take a Moscow city cab or a private cab.

The Moscow city cab office is marked as 31 on the map. You can pay by a credit card or cash at this office; the fair is 1300 roubles for any location in the downtown.

There are a lot of drivers offering you to ride to the downtown by a private cab. They will surround you near the exit asking “Do you need a taxi?”. The reasonable price from the airport to the hotel should not exceed 1500 roubles (appx. 55 USD). The private drivers can be intrusive, so if you do not want to take one — be firm: just say ‘No’ and make your way through the crowd.

Proceed to getting to the Mosfilm Hotel from Sheremetyevo.
